By GitHub
Track pull requests, issues, and reviews in one flow. Surface blockers, provide context in Slack or Teams, and close loops faster.
Overview
PhronEdge’s GitHub integration keeps your engineering work connected to the rest of your organization.
Pull requests are monitored for age, review status, and merge activity.
Issues and blockers are surfaced automatically for managers and executives.
Activity and updates appear in Slack, Teams, and dashboards without digging through GitHub.
With PhronOps (premium), reviewers can be nudged, stale PRs escalated, and loops closed automatically.
How it works
Enable the integration by authenticating GitHub with OAuth 2.0.
Select repositories to connect into PhronEdge.
Capture activity automatically:
Open PRs are flagged by age and review status.
Linked issues update in PhronEdge as commits and merges happen.
Comments and status changes sync for managers and leaders.Surface insights in Teams: contributors get nudges, managers see blockers, executives receive summaries, all delivered in native Teams chat.|
Surface insights in Slack/Teams: contributors see their work, managers see blockers, and executives see summaries.
Close the loop: merged PRs and resolved issues update automatically across PhronEdge.
Configure
Admins enable GitHub from the Admin Center with a simple OAuth 2.0 connection. After connecting, they select which repositories to sync. Once enabled:
All members of the company are synced and onboarded automatically.
Channels, calendars, and mentions begin flowing into PhronEdge.
Audit logs record every integration event for transparency.
If PhronOps is enabled, it adds automation (nudges, escalations, follow-ups).
Enterprise availability: Advanced admin controls, tenant-wide deployment, and compliance logging available on Enterprise plans.
