1. Scope and Incorporation
This AUP governs how customers and authorized users use PhronEdge products, services, websites, APIs, and integrations (the “Service”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the PhronEdge Terms of Service at https://phronedge.com/legal/tos. This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
2. User Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your organization’s account, for users you invite, and for content and automations you route into the Service. You must ensure your users understand and follow this AUP.
You may not use the Service if you are a person or entity sanctioned or denied under U.S. or applicable international export/sanctions laws, or for any purpose prohibited by such laws.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use the Service to:
Violate any law or regulation.
Infringe or misappropriate intellectual property or proprietary rights.
Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code.
Engage in harassment, stalking, threats, or incitement to violence.
Share or solicit sexually exploitative content involving minors. Zero tolerance.
Publish or facilitate doxxing or other unlawful privacy intrusions.
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
Send deceptive or misleading content or links.
Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
4. Security and Service Integrity
You may not:
Access the Service without authorization or bypass OAuth or SSO.
Share accounts or use stolen, leaked, or unlawfully obtained credentials or tokens.
Probe, scan, or test security or attempt to bypass technical protections without prior written permission from PhronEdge. Testing without prior coordination may be considered a violation of this AUP.
Interfere with the Service, including denial of service, resource exhaustion, load or fuzz testing without permission, or attempts to disrupt other customers.
Alter or obfuscate headers, telemetry, or origin information.
5. Data Restrictions
Do not submit regulated data such as PHI under HIPAA, PCI cardholder data, or government classified data unless expressly covered by a signed BAA or DPA and the applicable Order.
Apply data minimization. Only ingest data you are permitted to process and that is necessary for your use case.
Do not upload content you lack rights to process.
You are solely responsible for ensuring lawful collection and disclosure of personal data you route into the Service.
Do not attempt to re-identify de-identified or anonymized data or to combine data to identify individuals or organizations.
6. Messaging and Outreach via Integrations
Use only authorized scopes and comply with each provider’s terms, including Microsoft, Slack, GitHub, and Jira.
Do not use integrations for unsolicited or automated bulk outreach, spam, or growth hacking.
Respect user preferences and applicable anti-spam laws.
Revoking an integration stops new data flows. It does not automatically delete data previously retrieved. Manage deletion through the Service, the DPA, or a written request as applicable.
7. APIs, Automation, and Rate Limits
Use documented APIs and respect rate limits and technical controls.
Do not rotate credentials, create shadow tenants, or use proxies to evade limits.
Do not scrape or mass export content in a manner that degrades performance or violates others’ rights.
Do not circumvent billing, metering, or seat limits (including account sharing, seat pooling, automated account creation, or any method intended to avoid fees).
Keep access tokens and credentials secure and notify PhronEdge immediately of suspected compromise.
We may enforce rate limits dynamically to protect platform stability.
Do not publish performance or benchmark results about the Service without PhronEdge’s prior written permission.
8. High-Risk Uses
Do not use the Service for safety-of-life or mission-critical systems where failure could result in death, personal injury, or severe environmental or economic damage. Examples include medical devices, emergency services, air traffic control, or nuclear facilities.
9. User-Generated Content and Moderation
You are responsible for moderating the workspaces and content under your control. Remove unlawful or policy-violating content promptly and enforce appropriate internal controls.
10. Security Research and Vulnerability Disclosure
PhronEdge welcomes good-faith security research. Email security@phronedge.com with detailed steps to reproduce, affected components, and proof-of-concept. Do not exfiltrate data, access other customers’ information, or perform denial of service. Coordinated remediation and acknowledgement will be provided where appropriate.
Safe Harbor: If you follow these guidelines (avoid accessing other customers’ data, avoid service disruption, promptly report to security@phronedge.com, and allow reasonable time for remediation), PhronEdge will not pursue legal action or enforcement under this AUP solely for your good-faith security research.
11. Reporting Abuse
Report suspected AUP violations to abuse@phronedge.com. Include timestamps, tenant ID, user or channel IDs, relevant URLs, and logs if available. For copyright or trademark issues, email legal@phronedge.com.

PhronEdge may investigate potential violations and may take one or more of the following actions at its discretion:
Issue a warning or require corrective action.
Remove or block access to content.
Rate limit, restrict features, or disable integrations.
Suspend or terminate access to the Service.

We may preserve evidence and logs consistent with our legal obligations and policies.
13. Relationship to Other Terms
