About PhronEdge

Regulatory intelligence for US energy.

PhronEdge monitors all 7 US ISOs, the utility commissions of all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and FERC, NERC, EPA, CFTC and IRS daily. It maps each change to your assets and markets and cites every answer to its source.

Why we built it

US energy rules change every week.

Market rules shift across 7 ISOs. State commissions issue orders on rates, interconnection and reliability. FERC, NERC, EPA, CFTC and IRS set the rules above them all. Most compliance teams still track this by hand, reading long filings to find the deadline that applies to them.

We built PhronEdge to answer the questions those teams ask every day: what changed, what applies to my assets, by when, and where is it written.

7

US ISOs

Every grid operator and its market rules, from CAISO to PJM.

51

State commissions

The utility commissions of all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

7

National bodies

FERC, NERC, EPA, IRS and Treasury, CFTC, OFAC and the Federal Reserve, the rules above every state.

Daily

Monitoring

Every covered source is checked every day for new and changed rules.

What it does

Monitor, map, cite, act.

Monitor

Every covered regulator is monitored daily, so new orders, filings and rule changes surface the day they are published.

Map

Each change is matched to the assets, markets and states in your workspace, so you see what applies to you.

Cite

Every answer links to the source document and section, so your team can check the text before acting on it.

Act

Each obligation gets an act-by date and an owner on your team, and the history is kept in the audit log.

How we work

3 rules we build by.

A compliance team has to defend every decision it makes. These rules keep the platform worth defending.

Every answer cites its source

Content is compiled from government and regulatory publications. Each answer carries the section number and a link to the original document. You read it and decide.

Built for the rules you answer to

Coverage follows the US energy system: ISO market rules, state commission orders, and the federal rules from FERC, NERC, EPA, CFTC and IRS that sit above them.

Your data stays yours

Each workspace is isolated. Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest with AES-256. We do not train any models on your data.

01

Energy markets and compliance

Practitioners who have tracked obligations across ISOs, state commissions and federal agencies by hand shape what the platform watches and how it interprets a rule.

02

Security for regulated systems

Security specialists review how the platform is built and run, from workspace isolation and encryption to the audit trail.
