Getting started
Set up your workspace, scope your regulatory surface, register your first asset, and ask your first compliance question. 76+ sources across 7 US ISOs, all 50 state PUCs, NERC, FERC, EPA, IRS, and international operators in Canada, the EU, the UK, and Australia. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
Go to phronedge.com and sign up with your work email or Google. Your workspace is provisioned immediately with isolated storage, a scoped database, and a private knowledge base. Your data is separated from every other tenant from the moment you sign up. We do not train on customer data.
Open Plan from the sidebar. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with full platform access. Your card is not charged until the trial ends.
3 seats. 1 US ISO of your choice with its state PUC included, plus the federal layer (NERC, FERC, EPA, IRS). Live market data, cited regulatory intelligence, crosswalk analysis, incident obligation mapping, and vendor risk assessments. A market data terminal alone costs $20,000 per seat per year.
10 seats and 5 registered assets. All 7 US ISOs, all 50 state PUCs, plus Canada (AESO, IESO), EU (ENTSO-E), UK (Ofgem), and Australia (AEMO). Guided registration with per-ISO milestone plans, calendar sync, Slack and Teams delivery, and PDF reports for boards and auditors.
The sidebar lists every ISO under the Operate section. Select a market and PhronEdge activates every regulatory source that governs it: the ISO protocols, the applicable state PUC, and the full federal layer. On Essentials you choose one ISO. On Platform, all seven are active and you can scope between them. Platform also activates international sources: AESO and IESO (Canada), ENTSO-E (EU), Ofgem (UK), and AEMO (Australia).
Your entire workspace adapts to scope. The Home dashboard, the regulatory change feed, market data, and the chat all filter to the sources that govern your specific operations.
Open Registration. Register a generation, storage, or load asset and PhronEdge maps every applicable obligation from NERC, FERC, your ISO, your state PUC, EPA, and IRS to that specific asset. 78 obligations across 7 regulators for a single ERCOT entity. Two paths:
ERCOT alone has 29 milestones: GINR, RIOO-IS, QSE designation, metering, telemetry, commissioning, and ongoing compliance. Each milestone includes the regulatory citation, required documents, the portal where you file, timeline, fees, and what happens if you miss it. Assign milestones to team members, set due dates, and sync deadlines to your calendar. When a regulation changes, PhronEdge matches it against every registered asset and tells you which plans are affected.
Open Chat. Ask any compliance question. PhronEdge answers with numbered citations to the exact regulatory section. PUCT Project No. 53981. CIP-008-6 R1. ERCOT Protocols Section 16.18(2). You verify every answer against the source document, not against the AI. The citation is the product.
What are the ERCOT interconnection requirements for a 200 MW solar facility?
When is the next FERC Order 2023 compliance deadline?
Compare NERC CIP-008 incident reporting requirements with NIS2.
What penalties apply to a missed CIP-004 training deadline?
What state PUC approvals do I need for a BESS project in Texas?
Scope your chat to a specific registered entity using the dropdown at the top. The intelligence filters to what applies to that asset: its ISO, its state PUC, its NERC registration category, and every federal obligation that touches it.
The sidebar organizes your complete regulatory operating system:
Open Settings and go to Integrations. Connect Slack or Microsoft Teams and your compliance team gets cited regulatory intelligence directly where they work. Same sources, same citations, no context switching.
Configure delivery for regulatory changes, deadline reminders, and attention items. When something is published that affects your assets, the right people know before the comment window closes or the effective date hits.
Open Settings and go to Team. Invite by email and assign a role (Admin, Member, or Viewer). Everyone gets their own login and every action is logged with who and when. Your audit trail holds up under examination because every person has their own seat.
Additional seats $200/mo. Additional registered assets $250/mo. Added from the Plan tab and prorated on your next invoice.
What to do next
Bring one asset: its ISO and resource type. We lay out the full registration plan, every milestone, live in 30 minutes. Or bring your CIP-013 plan and we run the crosswalk instead.
